California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

At wind ’n’ sails, we believe that quality, integrity, and responsibility extend beyond the products we create to the people and workplaces involved in bringing them to life.

We are committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically and do not tolerate slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, or other forms of involuntary labor in our supply chain. Our Code of Conduct establishes the standards we expect suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and other business partners involved in the production and sourcing of wind ’n’ sails products to uphold.

The following disclosure describes our current practices concerning slavery and human trafficking in our direct product supply chain and addresses the five areas identified by the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010.

wind ’n’ sails considers ethical and compliance standards when selecting and working with suppliers and manufacturing partners. Our Code of Conduct communicates our expectations regarding lawful and responsible business practices, including the prohibition of forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking.

Wind ’n’ Sails does not currently engage an independent third party to conduct verification of its product supply chain specifically to evaluate and address risks of slavery and human trafficking.

If credible information concerning slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, or another serious violation of our standards is brought to our attention, we will review the circumstances and take appropriate action.

Wind ’n’ Sails does not currently conduct independent audits, including independent unannounced audits, of suppliers specifically to evaluate compliance with company standards concerning slavery and human trafficking.

We nevertheless expect suppliers and manufacturing partners to comply with applicable laws and the standards established in our Code of Conduct.

If we become aware of credible information indicating that a supplier or manufacturing partner has violated our standards regarding forced labor, slavery, or human trafficking, Wind ’n’ Sails will evaluate the circumstances and may require corrective action, suspend business activity, or terminate the business relationship, as appropriate.

Wind ’n’ Sails expects its suppliers and manufacturing partners to comply with applicable laws and the labor and human-rights standards established in our Code of Conduct, including our prohibition against forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking.

Wind ’n’ Sails does not currently require direct suppliers to provide separate certifications that materials incorporated into Wind ’n’ Sails products comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which those suppliers do business.

Wind ’n’ Sails expects employees, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and other business partners involved in our supply chain to conduct business lawfully, ethically, and consistently with our standards.

Potential violations involving slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, or other serious labor abuses may be escalated to company leadership for review.

Where a violation is substantiated, Wind ’n’ Sails will determine appropriate action based on the nature and severity of the circumstances. Such action may include requiring corrective measures, suspending business activity, or terminating a supplier, manufacturer, contractor, or other business relationship.

Employees or contractors who fail to comply with applicable company standards may be subject to appropriate corrective or disciplinary action.

Wind ’n’ Sails does not currently provide employees or management with a formal training program specifically addressing human trafficking and slavery or the mitigation of related risks within product supply chains.

As our business and supply chain continue to develop, we will evaluate appropriate training and educational measures to strengthen awareness of forced-labor and human-trafficking risks.

Wind ’n’ Sails is committed to the continued development of responsible and ethical sourcing practices. As our business grows, we will continue to evaluate our supplier standards, risk-assessment practices, oversight procedures, training, and other measures designed to promote responsible conduct throughout our supply chain.

We expect the businesses with which we work to share our commitment to lawful, ethical, and responsible conduct and to respect the dignity and fundamental rights of the people involved in bringing Wind ’n’ Sails products to life.
